Banks & Boswell

Lizzy Banks and Ian Boswell are friends of The Cycling Podcast. Boswell has been a regular interviewee from the start of his career with Team Sky in 2013, and our Young Americans episode in 2015, to the end of his World Tour career in 2019, when he opened up about the concussion that hastened his retirement.

Banks, as well as being one of the world's top riders, is the presenter of our tech podcast, Service Course. And this year she, too, suffered a serious concussion after a crash at Strade Bianche: an injury that saw her miss the rest of the season.

In this relaxed end of year chat, Ian and Lizzy discuss their experience of concussion but a lot else besides, including gravel racing, expensive watches and what to take to Luke Rowe's wedding.
