Between the covers: A love letter to cycling magazines

With the closure of Procycling announced shortly before Christmas, Richard, Lionel and Daniel reflect on the role Britain's cycling magazines have played in their introduction to the sport and their careers in journalism.

In this discussion, we explore how Cycle Sport and Procycling surfed the sport's waves of popularity on both sides of the Atlantic, survived years of doping scandals, tried to adapt to the arrival of the internet and ask why they ultimately folded while others such as Rouleur and Cyclist have thrived.
