The Managers Boxset

We have added four conversations with some of the biggest figures in World Tour team management from our Friends of the Podcast back catalogue.

These episodes from the archive are in addition to the 11 new episodes we will put out this year and while some long-standing Friends of the Podcast may have heard them before they might be interested to listen again.

Kicking off the Managers Boxset is our conversation with Matt White, sports director with Bike Exchange (back then Orica-Scott), which was recorded over a Japanese-Peruvian fusion lunch in London’s Soho.

Then there’s a coffee with a rather bleary-eyed Patrick Lefevere in a hotel in Calpe, Spain, after the Deceuninck-Quick Step team launch in 2019.

Lunch with Dave Brailsford was recorded in Derby a few days before he set off for the first Tour de France as Team Ineos after the change in sponsor from Sky. And the conversation with Jonathan Vaughters took place on a rest day during the 2019 Tour as they grappled with a rather average brasserie lunch.
