The Cycling Podcast’s Richard Moore and Lionel Birnie met Team Sky’s Dave Brailsford and Chris Froome at their hotel towards the end of the first week of the Tour.

They were invited on board Brailsford’s personal mobile home to talk about the Tour so far and also address the issue of the UCI’s ban on riders sleeping in luxury vehicles rather than the hotels assigned to them by the race organisers.

Brailsford also talks about the way the first week of the Tour has unfolded, reveals that Geraint Thomas will lead Sky at a grand tour sooner or later and

Froome talks about the issue of riders’ weight, assesses his main rivals and looks ahead to the mountains.
